Privacy Policy

In short: Optimize Storage processes your photos and videos only on your iPhone. We don’t collect, store on servers, sell or share any personal data. There are no accounts, ads or tracking.

1. Who we are

The Optimize Storage app (the “App”) is provided by Sad Corp S.A.C., Tax ID (RUC) 20601874475, based in Lima, Peru (“we”). You can reach us at soporte@deskontime.com.

2. Data we don’t collect

The App doesn’t collect or transmit personal data. In particular, we don’t collect:

• Your photos, videos or their metadata (date, location, camera data).
• Your name, email, phone number or any other contact details. The App has no sign-up or login.
• Advertising or device identifiers, or usage, diagnostics or location data.

The App includes no analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party SDKs, and doesn’t connect to any servers of ours.

3. Access to your photo library

The App asks for access to Photos only to:

• Calculate how much space each photo and video uses and sort them by size.
• Compress the items you choose and show you a preview.
• Save the compressed copy (with its date, location, favorite and albums) and, only when you confirm, delete the original.

All of this happens on your iPhone. You can grant full access or limited access to selected photos, and change or revoke it anytime in Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos › Optimize Storage.

If your originals are stored in iCloud Photos, iOS may download them from iCloud so the App can compress them. That download is handled by Apple under its own privacy policy; we don’t receive that data.

4. Information stored on your device

To work, the App stores the following on your iPhone, inside its own container:

• A cache with the size of each item so it doesn’t have to recalculate it every time.
• A log of compressions (date, type and bytes saved) to show you the space recovered.
• Temporary files while compressing, which are deleted when done.

This information never leaves your iPhone. It may be included in your iCloud or computer backups depending on your iOS settings. It’s removed completely when you delete the App.

5. Sharing with third parties

We don’t share, sell or transfer data to third parties, because we don’t receive any.

6. Children

The App isn’t specifically directed at children and doesn’t collect data from anyone, including children.

7. Your rights

Under Peru’s Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 29733) and its regulations, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection by writing to soporte@deskontime.com. Since we don’t store personal data in our systems, we usually won’t have any information about you; what the App stores is only on your iPhone and you can delete it by removing the App.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version on this page with its update date. If the App ever starts collecting any data, we’ll explain it here and in the App before doing so.
