How it works

  1. Pick a photo or video from the list. You’ll see its current size and its size after compression.
  2. Choose the level or quality and compare before and after.
  3. Optimize Storage compresses, verifies the result and saves the copy to Photos.
  4. You confirm deleting the original. iOS keeps it for 30 days in “Recently Deleted”; empty that album to free the space right away.
